About Us

Joanne and her husband, Al, are 3rd generation merchants in downtown Douglas.  Joanne had a jewelry store from 1987-2002; after selling her store front, she continued to sell diamonds by appointment.  Al purchased his father's True Value hardware store.  

The Dusty Diamond started in 2017 as a part-time retirement venture for both of them.  Now they travel all over the US to antique shows and sales to find the unique pieces.  

The market is only open 4 days a month; but people come and wait in line to be first to claim the curated vintage/antique wares AND the diamonds that they have seen online.  

The store is filled with high qualiity pieces that you may not find anywhere else.  The store focuses on kitchenware, glassware, corningware, cookware, yelloware pottery, signage, and diamonds.
